Job Description: Brand and Service Communication Officer

This position is responsible for implementing communication strategies that build and maintain the brand reputation of the organization. The position holder will work closely with various Hospital departments to develop messaging, marketing campaigns, and public relations initiatives that align with the Hospital’s overall goals and objectives. The role also involves building and maintaining relationships with external stakeholders and engaging them in the Hospital’s initiatives and programs.

 

Duties and Responsibility for Brand and Service Communication Officer

  • Support the communications office in implementing corporate communication strategies that support the organization’s brand and service goals.
  • Support the Communication Office in Planning and coordinating Tenwek Hospital’s events and attend external events such as trade shows, product launches, conferences, and other promotional events to showcase the Hospital.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to understand the target audience, analyze consumer behavior to identify trends and opportunities, and inform communication strategies.
  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communication strategies for necessary adjustment.
  • Manage relationships with external vendors, such as graphic designers, branding suppliers, copywriters, filming agencies, and advertising agencies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams within the Hospital to create marketing content that communicates the Hospital’s services and value proposition.
  • Write and proofread all communication and marketing content and copy for corporate communication material, including brochures, banners, press releases, annual report books, and other promotional materials.
  • Support the Communication Office in building and maintaining relationships with media outlets, bloggers, and influencers to promote Tenwek Hospital services.
  • Support the communication office in creating and managing communication budgets, tracking expenditures, and evaluating the return on investment (ROI) of marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate all branding activities within the Hospital as well as the production of all branded merchandise.
  • Manage storage and distribution of branded merchandise by keeping records and reporting the same in the Communications department.
  • Perform Any other Duties assigned by the Supervisor from time to time.
